Paste Text With Enter Key In Excel [Did You Know]

by Anoop Engineer 3 comments

Did you know that you can paste in Excel using Enter key?

First copy the cells using Ctrl + C, then click on the desired cell where you want the cells to be copied and hit enter.

Know any better ways to copy in excel? Share it in comments.

If you copy and use Ctrl + V to paste, the selection will be active and you can paste again.

But, once you use Enter, the selection is lost. You need to copy again.

If you need to paste only text, then select the cell, press F2 or click once more to go to edit mode. Then paste. Or, you can paste in the formula bar on top.
